I live in Brooklyn, NY (in Park Slope!) and am an engineer on A24’s internal software “skunkworks” team. In my free time I build and maintain open source media libraries and write about culture and technology. I love startups, and occasionally write small angel checks in friends’ companies.
At Brown I studied computer science, TAed an intro class, and published RL research. I also built an independent concentration I called Art and Technology studying how cultural production and technological development interact. Previously, I built software at Substack, Footprint, and the NYC Department of City Planning.
I'm always eager to meet new people, particularly those thinking about open source, research, "maker culture," startups, media, and/or internet writing—shoot me an email and let's grab coffee!
